Laser Cutting
Using laser cutting technology for sheet metal fabrication has revolutionized the industry, and TEDCO has evolved along with it, with the purchase of our LCG 3015 AJ Series Fiber Laser. With an innovative motion system and advanced structural design, the LCG 3015 represents an optimal balance of cut speed, positioning, acceleration and overall accuracy. Instead of investing time and money into customize tooling for punching machinery, the laser provides accurate and fast fabrication without the need for tools. This piece of equipment helps our customers save thousands of dollars in manufacturing costs, less money spent, and higher quality parts!
The Amada ENSIS Aje Fiber Laser paired with the OASC Series Compressor was an excellent investment for our company and a match made in precision sheet metal fabrication heaven. Whether it is less heat distortion on your part edges or the convenience of a quicker turnaround time, our machinery has the capabilities necessary to complete your goals. The OASC Compressor provides in-house nitrogen, improving shop efficiency by producing steady air flow and constant pressure so energy loss due to loading and unloading is avoidable.
Punching
Tedco has a variety of metal cutting equipment, including AMADA CNC turret punch press, providing high productivity for a variety of items in small to large batch projects. Though since the purchase of the AMADA ENSIS 3015 AJ Series Fiber Laser, we have used punches less and less, as the laser costs less in time spent.
Forming
Tedco has the sheet metal forming machinery, and experience, to process close tolerance precision product. Our trained press brake operators and equipment can perform some of the most challenging sheet metal bends whether close tolerance radii, curves, or bump bending. Our AMADA press is one of the most accurate metal forming presses. Once setup is completed, then our capabilities at various flange lengths and widths is common practice! Our facility current owns an AMADA RG-50, 6’ Brake and a 50 Ton, 10’ Chicago Brake.
Shearing
Using our Wysong, Tedco can shear material to your specifications quickly. It is a quick cutting method, not very accurate in nature, but immediate turnaround.
Welding Department
Precision welding has been a highlight of Tedco’s capabilities from the beginning. In addition to being highly advanced in standard MIG, TIG, and spot welding, we have recently added laser welding to the lineup. LightWELD handheld laser welding and cleaning systems are designed to revolutionize your weld quality and productivity. LightWELD laser welding is fast, easy to learn, and produces high-quality, consistent results across a wide range of materials and thicknesses. 
Graining
Most finishing call-outs Tedco is capable of executing. In-house grain finishing include scotch brite finishes in 2B, and stainless steel in #3, and #4. Other requirements are outsourced, or material arrives with desired finishing, then handled with precision to ensure our customers receive only the best results!
Outsourced Finishing
Whether it is handled in-house or outsourced to Tedco’s strong network of finishing specialists, Tedco will complete your project requirements from start to finishings. The wide variety of metal finishes including all types of plating, coating, heat treating, paint and silk screening can be provided through our over 30 year relationship with neighboring bay area vendors that meet our requirements of consistent quality and service.
