Awards
In 2017, our company was doing a lot of work for Facebook. We went above and beyond to get parts to them in a quick timeframe, including delivery services to their facility. They acknowledged our work ethic and gave Tedco an award for quality and commitment to outstanding service. It was a pleasure doing business!
Events
Tedco 10th Anniversary
Tedco once celebrated company anniversaries with company-wide dinner parties or lunches. The accomplishment of another year used to be a greater event when it felt like every year wasn’t promised, and Thomas and Cindy Davis were still with us. Here are photos from TEDCO’s 10th Anniversary.

Tedco Sponsorships
Recently, Tedco added the Cal Poly Pomona Engineering Team as a new sponsor to our growing list. Previous sponsors have included Good Guys car shows, local art collectives, school events, and 5K runs.
Cal Poly Mechanical Engineering Senior Project
Tedco has been aiding in the Cal Poly Mechanical Engineering Senior Project this year (2026). This project must be completed for seniors to graduate by demonstrating their ability to design in the real world. This year’s objective is to test the efficiency of a solar collector under standard environmental conditions. The thing that makes this a little different from just a normal solar collector is that we are testing how well reflective mylar tape does with heat transfer. Tedco helped in the fabrication of the metal components. Tedco staff will be on campus to view the Mechanical Engineering synopsis in May of this year. They documented the process and sent us photos for our records.

Tedco June 2025 Press Release:
TEDCO Advances in Service with Machinery Additions and Improved Customer Insights
TEDCO advancements in service over the last five years come from a combination of new machinery investments and improved levels of customer insight into our shop capabilities and knowledge of metal industry trends. With the addition of the Amada ENSIS Series Fiber Laser and OASC Compressor, our shop functions at max efficiency. Amada 6kW technology has allowed for continuous variable laser beam control, processing thin-to-thick materials with no lens change or added setups. This has shown major improvements in production speed and cost-effectiveness, providing customers with precision quality service within desired lead times.
To reduce energy and operating costs even further, we installed the OASC Screw Compressor. This machinery generates the nitrogen necessary for the Fiber Laser to function. Now with a reliable and consistent air supply, TEDCO is saving 35% of energy because of its Poly-Tec belt, pulley connections, and NEMA TEFC premium engine.
Within the last year, our welding department also added laser welding to our shop capabilities by investing in the LaserWELDXR by IPGPhotonics. This process is highly precise and fast, by focusing a high-intensity laser to melt and fuse material together.
Improved levels of customer insight have come with the addition of TEDCO website upgrades and customer email campaigns outlining newsworthy metal industry and company information. We now supply customers with monthly material market trend reports that discuss the state of fluctuating global metal pricing to counteract the looming uncertainties of tariff regulations. We hope to provide customers with a sense of security that our company will remain transparent while maintaining precision quality products.
